Tank Container Codes

Vlog: use video controls to play video and set audio level

Tank containers may display both a Size Type Code and an ADR Tank Code – both codes are 4 digits long and contain both alpha and numeric characters.  The size type code is managed by the ISO and the ADR code is defined by the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR).  The vlog examines both codes and explains their purpose and how to differentiate between them.
